Terri discovered Liberty Arts when she fell in love with Major the Bull (she keeps a memento of it in her home), and deepened her appreciation as she met the glass artists, jewelry artists, welders, sculptors, wood workers, letter press printers, potters, and the pipe maker that drive the organization. Born in Arizona, Terri moved frequently in her youth prior to attending UC Irvine. Post college Terri headed to DC to “make her fortune”, married, and moved to Oregon, Virginia and California, before settling back in DC with her two sons.
In DC, Terri rejoined the corporate workforce and had a successful career (which eventually brought her to Durham). She recently retired to spend more time with family, friends, volunteer, and travel.
She is excited to have been accepted as a Board Member and looks forward to being a part of Liberty Arts’ future.
